Services

Welcome to my services page, where you can explore the range of therapeutic and coaching options I offer. Whether you’re seeking emotional healing, personal growth, or simply need guidance to navigate life’s challenges, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Let’s work together to create a path that meets your unique needs and goals.

Stress Management

Stress is often categorised into ‘good’ stress, which can motivate and drive us, and ‘bad’ stress, which can overwhelm and hinder our daily functioning. If you’re feeling so stressed that even basic tasks seem insurmountable, you’re not alone. Multiple stressors can accumulate, making it difficult to find direction and relief.

Stress activates the body’s fight response, leading to increased adrenaline and cortisol levels, which, if persistent, can result in burnout. Symptoms of chronic stress may include sleep problems, muscle or joint pain, headaches, breathing difficulties, skin issues, digestive problems, irritability, or intrusive thoughts.

Together, we’ll identify the sources of your stress and develop strategies to manage it effectively. My goal is to help you reduce stress, think more clearly, and achieve a greater sense of calm.

Anxiety Support

Anxiety can manifest in many forms and impact our lives in different ways. How frequently do you experience anxiety? Can you recall when these feelings first began, or moments when you feel free from anxiety?

Anxiety may present itself as panic attacks, phobias, OCD, autistic burnout, meltdowns, or even general nervousness. It can stem from past trauma, social situations, sensory overload, or health concerns, among other triggers.

Together, we’ll explore the underlying causes of your anxiety and work to identify the triggers that bring it on. With the right tools and techniques, we can help you achieve a greater sense of calm and control, making anxiety a more manageable part of your life.

Depression Counselling

Depression seldom appears without cause. It can be a survival mechanism, signalling that stress or anxiety has been overwhelming for too long, leaving you feeling trapped. Sometimes, depression can even resemble burnout.

We’ll work together to explore what depression means for you, recognizing that you know yourself better than anyone. Whether your feelings are temporary or have persisted for months or years, I’m here to support you. By understanding your experiences, we can work towards balancing your emotional needs and finding ways to lift your mood, helping you discover greater meaning and purpose in your life.

Trauma Recovery

As a trauma specialist, I recognise that trauma comes in many forms, from smaller, everyday events to major, life-altering experiences. You may have experienced a significant event that led to PTSD, or perhaps you identify with cPTSD due to ongoing traumatic events over time. Sometimes, simply navigating a world that doesn’t understand or support you can feel traumatic.

We’ll work together to understand how past events influence your current thoughts, feelings, and daily life. I’m here to support you with grounding techniques and strategies to help you reconnect with your emotions without being overwhelmed by past traumas.

Neurodivergent Therapy & Coaching

Before discovering my own neurodivergence, I approached therapy differently. Now, my practice is fully dedicated to supporting neurodivergent clients with a comprehensive and personalised approach.

I understand the thoughts and feelings you may have that others, including previous counsellors, might not have fully grasped. I’m here to validate your experiences and ensure you feel understood. If you bring something new to our sessions, I’ll make it my priority to learn and adapt so that I can support you effectively.

I’m an active and engaged therapist. We’ll work together, as a team, to make the most of each session and achieve meaningful progress. The term ‘Neurodivergent’ covers many ways of being different, and I focus on areas like Autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, Tourette’s, and OCD.

As a psychotherapist, we’ll explore how your mental health is impacted by your neurodivergence, addressing any co-occurring differences along the way.
